Dashboard Drop
Yet another way to look at high level MLS Data
For about as long as I’ve been working with MLS data, I’ve been making dashboards in Tableau. I’ve made them every year, trying to get as close as possible to THE dashboard to rule them all.
I think I might finally have it. 12 linked dashboards connected by a single menu, with 4 unique links for each league (or in the case of USL, pair of leagues) that the data covers. All with semi-automatic updates.
Here’s some images as a preview - please understand that it cannot possibly do the dashboards justice as they are fully interactive.
Hopefully, finishing this project that has taken up an unreasonable amount of time means that I will be able to spend more time doing actual analysis. Maybe I’ll just spend my days fiddling with the data. Either way, hoping to get something cool out of it.
